The 2015 selection for One Book One Wagga was Liam Pieper's memoir The Feel-Good Hit of the Year.
Liam Pieper was raised by his bohemian parents to believe in freedom and creativity, and that there's nothing wrong with smoking a little marijuana to make life easier. Nothing if not precocious, he used these lessons to develop a fledgling drug habit and a thriving business selling pot from the back of his pushbike.
The Gala Dinner for "The Feel-Good Hit of the Year", with interviewer Amy Heap, was held on Friday June 5th, at the Wagga Wagga Commercial Club. Liam's memoir went on to be shortlisted for the National Biography Award and the Ned Kelly Best True Crime award.
