Become a member of the Wagga Wagga City Library today!

Library membership is free to all residents of the Wagga Wagga Local Government Area (LGA) and gives you access to in-library and online services including our extensive online catalogue of ebooks, digital audiobooks, magazines, and StoryBox Library for the kids.

As a member of the library, you can borrow up to 30 items at a time, for four weeks. Items can be renewed twice, for 2 weeks each time, as long as they're not reserved by someone else.

Don't forget to download the Wagga Wagga City Library app after receiving your card for the easiest way to search the catalogue and manage your loans, renewals and reservations.

If you hold a Riverina Regional Library card, or a card for any other NSW library you can join the library as a reciprocal member, which allows you to borrow four items and access our online services.

Complete the online registration form and present your NSW library card to staff to activate your membership.


No.  You will need to validate your membership and receive your Library card number W****** to have full access to our eLibrary, databases and other online services.


To log into our online services and public PCs, please use your library card number. Your password will be your date of birth in the format DDMMYYYY.


If you and at least 5 friends would like to start a book club, simply complete the Book Club registration form. There's an annual registration fee of $400 which entitles your club to 12 kits per calendar year. Each book club kit contains 10 copies of the selected title and can be borrowed for 6 weeks. You'll also get special treatment with some of our events, such as One Book One Wagga and our trivia nights.

Absolutely! We have multiple options for eBooks and eAudio, all available through apps on your phone or tablet, or using a browser on a laptop. Please check out our eLibrary page to get started.


You can email your documents straight to our printer or use one of our PCs. Printing costs .20c per black & white A4 page or .75c for colour A4. Visit our Printing page for more info.


Yes. The library scanner is separate from the printer/photocopier, and you don't need a library card to use it. There is also no charge for scanning.

The scanner can save files to a thumb drive, or send them to an email address.

(We often advise people to email documents to themselves, so they get a digital copy to keep)


At present, the library offers JP Services between 10am and 12 noon every Friday.

The  Wagga Wagga Court House has JP Services available on Tuesdays and Thursdays between 12pm and 2pm.

Alternatively, you  can use the online JP Public Register to find a JP.
