We aim to have a collection that is up-to-date, relevant and useful to all of our customers. If there is something that you would like to borrow that is unavailable, there are three options.
You can recommend items for us to include in our collection by filling in our online form.
While purchase suggestions are not guaranteed, if the items are a popular replacement, part of a series, or filling a non-fiction topic gap we are likely to fulfill your request.
For titles not held by Wagga Wagga City Library, inter library loan could be the option for you.
We can search all NSW public libraries for a fee of $4.40 and borrow an item on your behalf.
We can also borrow textbooks and other items from NSW University libraries at a cost of up to $30.
Inter library loan enquiries can also be made in person at all Wagga Wagga City Library service locations.
*The Inter Library Loans service will pause on 16 December and resume on 14 January. Requests will be taken but not filled during this period.*
Thanks to the State Library of New South Wales, Wagga Wagga City Library has a collection of books in languages other than English, available for any member to borrow.
This collection is on Level One, and is a mixture of fiction and non-fiction.
If we don't have any stock in your preferred language, let us know - if the State Library has it in their collection, we'll try to get some of it on our shelves.
And if you'd like to see more of one particular type of book in your language (biographies, popular novels etc.), let us know too.
Community Language Request Form
