Do you love reading? Do you love getting together with friends and discussing books? Well why not get together and start a Book Club!
If you and at least 5 friends would like to start a book club, simply complete the book club registration form. There's an annual registration fee of $400 which entitles your club to 12 kits per calendar year. Each book club kit contains 10 copies of the selected title and can be borrowed for 8 weeks. You'll also get special treatment with some of our events, such as One Book One Wagga and our trivia nights.
With more than two hundred book club tubs, chock-full of titles, for lovers of Contemporary Fiction, Thrillers, Biographies, Literary Fiction, Science Fiction, Classics, Romance, Crime, and many more, there's something for everyone!

You can complete your registration online, download a print friendly registration form, or ask one of our helpful staff next time you are in the library.
It costs $400 (including GST) for membership and administration per club to be paid before collecting their first Book Club kit. This covers the group for 12 months.
Every group is different, but each club can have up to 10 members, and we suggest a minimum of 6.

Yes! Clubs are entitled to have 2 kits out at the same time, however, clubs are limited to 12 kits per year.
You must be a registered Book Club to borrow from the Book Club collection.
The loan period for Book Club kits is 8 weeks. If someone in your club hasn't finished by the end of the loan period and wish to do so, they may be able to borrow the same title from the library's lending collection.
You can search for Book Club kits online or using our app. Start by going to the 'Borrow' page, then 'Search the Catalogue'. Then just select Book Club Titles to see what is available to borrow or reserve.
Kits come in a tub to protect the books during transportation. The average tub weighs between 5-7kgs and our heaviest tub is 10kgs.
Absolutely! Using our website or app you can reserve up to 4 Book Club kits at a time.

Clubs can suggest new titles for the Book Club Kits by completing an online purchase suggestion form.
Just complete the form and write ‘Book Club’ in the comments section.
Need all members to have access to the Book Club borrowing card in their Wagga Wagga City Library app? Inside the app, go to My Account - Linked Accounts - Add. Use the club card barcode with a capital W and the password is the birthday used to set up the card (we can check this for you if you need - just call 6926 9700).
