Spring School Holidays with Wagga Library

The library has free craft, colouring-in, board games and our Xbox Kinect available every day of the Spring school holidays (Sat Sep 28 - Sun Oct 13), in our Level 0 Children's Area.

There's also a huge range of programs and activities, at the library and around Wagga's LGA. Many of these are FREE, but please note that children under 16 require a responsible parent/guardian to stay for the duration of the event.

Sunshine Storytime in the Botanic Gardens

A librarian dressed as Ms. Frizzle - you know, from the Magic School Bus - reads to attentive kids.

Sunshine Storytime at the Botanic Gardens is everything you already love about Storytime, but in the beautiful surroundings of Wagga's Botanic Gardens.

There'll be picture books, songs, and craft, on Mon Sep 30, from 10:30-11:30am.

It's all FREE, and no bookings required.

Uranquinty Ukumamas Sing-Along

Join the Ukumamas at Uranquinty Hall (cnr Baker and Uranquinty Sts) to sing, dance, and learn to play along on a library-provided ukulele!

For ages 4-11, on Mon Sep 30, from 10:30am - 12noon.

Children must be accompanied by a responsible adult throughout the event.

FREE, but bookings essential.

Come to the library to make your very own colorful suncatchers inspired by birds, butterflies, tropical fish, or anything your imagination can dream up.

Youth of Wagga Mario Kart Tournament

Think you're a master of Mario Kart 8 Deluxe on the Nintendo Switch? Put your skills to the test at the library, on Tue Oct 1st, from 4-6pm.

There'll also be board games, beanbag chillaxing and pizza!

Civic Theatre Ukumamas Sing-Along

Persian Dance Workshop at Lake Albert Hall

Join us at Lake Albert Hall (Eastlake Drive, Lake Albert) for a Persian Dance Workshop with Sepideh (سپیده), a talented dancer who has performed at various events in Wagga Wagga. She will guide us through the graceful art of Persian dance.

Family Movie Friday

All titles suitable for children. Screening begins at 10:30am, and film runs approx. 90 mins.
