The library has free craft, colouring-in, board games, our Xbox Kinect, and robo-cats, available every day of the spring school holidays (Sat Sep 27 - Sun Oct 12), in our Level 0 Children's Area.
There's also a range of special programs and activities, at the library and around Wagga's LGA. These are FREE, but please note that children under 16 need a responsible parent/guardian to stay for the duration of the event.

Uranquinty Hall
Join award winning Aussie kids band The Vegetable Plot for an afternoon of live music at Uranquinty Community Hall!
Aspara Gus, Ru Barb and Sir Paul McCarrotney will be playing their funky-fresh tunes, spreading “Love and Peas”, and serving up a big wriggling HEAP of truly rotten jokes.
PLEASE NOTE: The Vegetable Plot will appear at Uranquinty Hall, NOT at the library.

Riverside Precinct
Storytime at Riverside is everything you already love about Storytime, but in the beautiful surroundings of Wagga's Riverside Precinct.
There'll be picture books, songs, and craft. Stick around afterwards and use the Agile Library van, which lets you browse, borrow, return, and make reservations, just like the regular library branch.
Find us near the Riverside Adventure Playground.

Wagga Library
Wagga Wagga City Library will be CLOSED for Council's Union Picnic Day, on Friday October 3rd, and for the Labour Day public holiday on Monday October 6th. There will be no Agile library services on these days.
The library will be OPEN at the usual times on Sat + Sun Oct 4 + 5, from 10am - 4pm.
No items are due for return on the days we are closed, and all of your eLibrary items (eBooks, eAudiobooks on Borrow Box, Indyreads etc.) will continue to work as usual.

Tolland Community Centre
Drop in to the Tolland Community Centre and get crafty with us! We'll bring the art and craft supplies, you can bring the enthusiasm!
The Agile Library van will also be there, and you can find your next great read.

For AGES 3-8
Join us for a special storytime and ballet class at Wagga City Library! We’ll read from My Ballet Buddy Book 1 – The Nutcracker, a beautifully illustrated children’s storybook created by experienced dance teachers.
To make the story come alive, we’ll play the enchanting Nutcracker soundtrack and have teachers and dancers from the book there to demonstrate the movements. Children will be invited to join in, dance along, and experience the joy of ballet first-hand.
