The Chinese dragon, or Loong, is a legendary creature deeply revered in Chinese culture.
This majestic being has the head of a camel and piercing, demon-like eyes. Although it’s similar to a snake, the Chinese dragon has powerful paws like a tiger and long, curly fur on the top of its body.
In Chinese tradition, dragons are symbols of peace and good fortune, bringing luck, wealth, strength and success to those they favour.
To me, the dragon is also a sign of hope, my culture and my identity. Movies and books featuring Chinese dragons first sparked my fascination with this incredible creature, and opened up a new world of stories and ideas.
