Uranquinty Digs 'The Vegetable Plot'

As part of the spring school holidays, the library was proud to host the award-winning kids band The Vegetable Plot, in a first-time performance at Uranquinty Community Hall, on Tuesday September 30th.

Aspara Gus, Ru Barb (pictured) and Sir Paul McCarrotney, who have travelled and performed all over Australia, put plenty of kids and adults through their paces, singing and dancing along to their catchy songs.

The Vegetable Plot, who are unafraid of a brave pun, bring a message of "love and peas" wherever they go, and keep grown-ups as entertained as children, with witty and inventive songs like Mango, Melon Collie, and (our personal favourite) Avocado.

You can keep up the band via their website, and stay up to date with all the library's school holiday programs through our What's On page, or by signing up to our newsletter.
