On Wednesday Dec 3rd and Friday Dec 5th, the library held its final Storytime sessions for 2025 at the Wagga Wagga Botanic Gardens.
Amber the bubble faerie produced some dazzling floating displays for the children, and everyone lined up to get their faces painted, Rudolph the Reindeer style.
Our Christmas mistletoes craft, which involves little painted feet squooshing onto a seasonal card, remained as popular as ever, and we had several parents coming back for their kids' second or third year.
There were lawn games and the Agile van, as well as picture books being read aloud from the picnic blankets, until the morning hit its peak with a visit from a very jolly man in red.
Storytime will return in 2026, on Wednesdays and Fridays, at 10am and 11am each day, starting February 4th. If you've never come to a session, the only thing you need to know is to book ahead! Just use your library membership number and date-of-birth PIN to book your spot through our app, or the library's website.
And if you're not already a member of the library, join here.
