As part of Youth Week, the library's good friends and colleagues in Community Development staged an album listening party for Taylor Swift's newest release, The Tortured Poets Department, in the downstairs children's area, on Saturday April 20th.
Swifties aged from 8-60 gathered among the pink and purple decorations, dressed in their favourite Taylor era, and vying for a commemorative '22' hat. There were friendship bracelets, and plenty of music courtesy of the event's live DJ.
While the library does not have a physical music collection, your eLibrary membership gives you free access to the Hoopla app, where you can stream music (including Taylor's), watch movies, and read/listen to books.
