On Tuesday July 8th, the library hosted 'The Magic of Wiradjuri Country Photo Competition', presented by Riverina Local Land Services.
The competition is for amateur school-aged photographers from across the Riverina, who are given the challenge of capturing what they see as the magic of the land they live on.
The competition does not stipulate a subject or focus: some students might choose a landmark, an animal, a person, or even the landscape itself.
Students submit photos to their schools, who then choose a top three for submission to Riverina Local Land Services, after which region-wide judging takes place.
The library will be hosting these award-winning and runner-up photos until the end of the month, by our lagoon-side windows on Level One.
