The novel selected for One Book One Wagga 2017 was Truly Madly Guilty by Liane Moriarty.

Clementine is haunted by regret. It was just a barbeque. They didn't even know their hosts that well, they were friends of friends. They could so easily have said no. But she and her husband Sam said yes, and now they can never change what they did and didn't do that Sunday afternoon.

More than 700 library members borrowed Truly Madly Guilty, and more than 150 people attended that year's Gala Dinner, with interviewer Amy Heap, held on May 19th in the Mirage Room at Wagga RSL.

Truly Madly Guilty was optioned for a screen adaptation shortly after its publication, by the same production team, led by Reese Witherspoon and Nicole Kidman, that adapated Moriarty's Big Little Lies for HBO.
