On Thursday November 9th, the library hosted a panel conversation chaired by one of our favourite local writers, Gabrielle Tozer.
Gabrielle invited two of her former teachers and writing inspirations, Cathy Edwards and David Gilbey, to talk about the unique demands and joys of the profession, and to share the wisdom they have gathered over the years.
Gabrielle's first teachers, her parents, and her driving instructor Rob, all of whom feature in her contribution to the anthology 'Teacher Teacher', made a welcome appearance as audience members, along with many other current teachers, former teachers, parents, and scholars of learning in general.
The library has copies of 'Teacher Teacher' for you to borrow. It's a popular title, but if our copies are out on loan you can always reserve one for later here.
